New work for our clients…

Window display decals

Early this year, okay in the spring (I’m a little late with the blog post.), we were asked by our wonderful MolsonCoors client to mock-up some window decal versions for presentation.

Avenue Cold Beer & Wine doesn’t exist.

Coors Banquet Rodeo Video

The Canadian Rodeo finals are held in Edmonton each year and our Molson client needed a video for the narrow LED ring that goes around the arena featuring Coors Banquet, a perennial rodeo sponsor.
A new medium for us but a bunch of quick sketches later and with a lot of help…

We blog when we think we have something good to share, not just to endlessly blog in the hope of driving up SEO…wait…

Install WordPress locally and run multiple sites using MAMP

I had installed MAMP (Macintosh, Apache, MySQL and PHP) several months ago to try running a local Wordpress site for testing design ideas, plug-ins etc., and while the install all worked I really didn’t understand how it all installed and functioned so I didn’t really use it much. I tried to go back to it recently and found MAMP had some issues with the latest Mac OS.

Web design trends 2015

I’ve been reading 2015 web design trends in blogs since somewhere in September of 2014. And while there are some differences from list to list there are a few things that seem to make everyone’s list. Not a top 10, which for me is a few too many to focus on, but my top 4. Short and sweet.

How we work to solve your marketing challenge. We were going to call it proprietary, but it’s not, it’s just good business sense.

We start by learning about your company and your marketing communications, advertising or design challenge.

The big idea. Working within your budget and timeline we find a unique and strategic creative solution for your project.

We take your message live. In all media required. Whether that’s a new banner ad or a full scale advertising campaign.

A portfolio of our work.

The work shown includes creative advertising and design projects handled directly for our present clients, and clients of our previous enterprises as well as projects undertaken while under contract or on assignment to other agencies.

(It goes without saying that the work remains the property of the respective agency/client. Wait, I just said it.)

People are talking about us.

And we like it. Thank you for your wonderful comments.

I had the opportunity to work with Catfish Creative on the design and launch of my website. I was very new to web design but Catfish Creative provided me with a step by step method to make the process seamless. They were very collaborative and creative. We shared likes and dislikes on web design and aligned to a look and feel before anything was developed. I was very pleased with the final product. I was also pleased that they have the ability to host and manage my website. This gives me the assurance that everything will work smoothly but if there is a problem it will be attended to immediately. I would recommend Catfish Creative if you are looking for a hands on, creative, collaborative and quality design company. Mike Crone

Getting Life Right

“Powell River Kings are very satisfied with the new design for our Dream Lottery Website. The graphics and the layout is more than what we expected and the cost was very reasonable. The design of the order form is seamless and very user friendly. Catfish Creative was very helpful through the development process and with their professional help the Kings now have a first class user friendly web site. Thank you Julie and Ernie for a job well done. We highly recommend Catfish Creative to any one who is in need of websites or Graphic Designs.” Joe Mastrodonato

Powell River Kings Dream Lottery

Kudos to Catfish Creative!! I want to thank you for generously sharing your time and expertise with me. Your insight into making an action plan to bring more traffic to my website was extremely helpful. After applying only three of your suggestions my sales have increased and I am encouraged to keep moving forward. Thank you Julie and Ernie!! Mariah Hunter

Hot Stone Hut

Catfish Creative is fantastic.  Molson Coors’ West Market Development Area (MDA) was gearing up for our 2016 Regional Conference.  We were developing videos to convey our 2016 programming to our frontline sales force.  The call came in to build a video behind our In Store Signage / Retailtainment for 2016 and we only had 72 hours to complete the perforated exterior window decals; fantastic exterior billboards which bring our Brands to life in Retail.  Catfish Creative stepped in and ran the project.  Catfish Creative developed initial creative for the decals same day and reviewed the concepts with the decision makers.  Then they built the beautiful working files even rebuilding a Heineken image for Molson Coors as we could not find the hero image.  The creative was top notch and delivered according to our tight timeline.  The video for the conference was very well received and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Catfish Creative to others as their workmanship is exemplary.
